Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri: CBFC Grants Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday Starrer U/A Certificate After Minor Modifications; Deets Inside

With literally just days left until Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday-led Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri releases in theatres, the hype surrounding the festive romantic drama is at an all-time high. While the film’s songs, teaser and trailer grabbed the attention of the audience, we now have some more details regarding the film.

As per a recent media report, the film has received its certificate from the CBFC after a few changes, cuts and censors. Scroll below to know about the modification as well as its final runtime.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Receives U/A Certificate From CBFC

According reported by Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday-led Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. However, the board directed the makers to make several changes in the movie. The CBFC, reportedly, ordered three cuts in the movie.

As per the report, the examining committee asked to reduce a sexually suggestive scene in the first half of the movie. Reportedly, 15 seconds of the movie has been censored. Along with the 15-second scene, the makers have also been told to mute obscene words in dialogues as well as remove them from the subtitles.

The committee has reportedly also instructed the producers to mute and drop abbreviations of obscene expressions during a particular sequence in the second half.

TMMT MTTM’s Runtime Revealed

The changes were made and resubmitted the film to the CBFC on December 15. As per the same report, the film’s runtime – as mentioned on the CBFC certificate, is 145.41 minutes, aka, 2 hours, 25 minutes, and 41 seconds.
