Varun Dhawan is gearing up for his 38th birthday on April 24, 2025, and celebrated in advance with the Mumbai paparazzi. Spotted outside a Mumbai restaurant three days before his big day, the actor cut a delicious-looking chocolate cake adorned with “Happy Birthday VD.”

Dressed in a red t-shirt, beige pants, and brown shoes, Varun Dhawan looked dapper, accessorised with white sunglasses. He posed for pictures and thanked the photographers who were spotted together in Bandra. The actor, who turns 37 on April 24, was all smiles as he interacted warmly with the crowd.

He also posed for selfies, and even shared a few candid moments with fans who had gathered hours in advance to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. The mini celebration may have been low-key in scale, but it was high on heart — just the kind of vibe that Varun is known for.

This marks Varun’s first birthday since welcoming his daughter, Lara, last June with wife, Natasha Dalal. The couple, in their official Instagram announcement, had requested media privacy during that special time. Varun Dhawan also shared on Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 that their daughter is named Lara.

Varun Dhawan’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Varun is busy with some projects. He’s currently filming Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy with Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. This film reunites him with director Shashank Khaitan. He’s also committed to the war film Border 2 with Sunny Deol. It is slated for release in 2026. He will be seen in his father, David Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Dinesh Vijan’s Bhediya 2.
