Varun Dhawan will not do the Abhinav Bindra’s biopic and ‘Dil 2’

There were reports suggesting Varun Dhawan‘s involvement in the biopic on Olympic medallist and shooter, Abhinav Bindra and the sequel to Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dil’. The actor has however denied any such rumours in his recent interview.

Speaking to a leading daily about being starred in a biopic, he said “Everybody is making biopics.I’m not doing the Abhinav Bindra biopic.” The youngster clearly doesn’t want to get into everyone’s league. Also talking about doing the sequel to Aamir Khan’s ‘Dil’, he asks, “Every day I’m cast in a new sequel. How can one person do so many sequels?”

So when asked about what is Varun interested in doing? he shares, “More than a biopic, I’m keen to do a fleshed-out, meaty role. I’m still the clean-shaven chikna who is doing college romances. I still feel like a college student, because directors keep taking me back to college. But I have different facets to my personality, all of them thoroughly entertaining. I hope someone taps them all.”

Varun will next be seen in ‘Dishoom’, an action entertainer which also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is directed by Varun’s brother, Rohit Dhawan.
