Vicky Kaushal looks ferocious as Chiranjeevi Parashurama in Mahavatar; unveils FIRST look

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is ready to play the role of Chiranjeevi Parashurama in his upcoming film Mahavatar. He recently unveiled the first look of the film on Wednesday, November 13.

Vicky Kaushal looks unrecognisable in the new look of Mahavatar. The film is slated to release on Christmas 2026. Sharing the motion poster on Instagram, Vicky wrote, “Dinesh Vijan brings to life the story of the eternal warrior of dharma! Vicky Kaushal stars as Chiranjeevi Parashurama in #Mahavatar, directed by Amar Kaushik. Coming to cinemas – Christmas 2026.”

The film is expected to go on floors in November 2026, after Vicky has completed Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Mahavatar is produced by Dinesh Vijan and will be directed by Amar Kaushik, the filmmaker behind Stree 2. Mahavatar will be released around Christmas 2026.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky will be next seen in Chhava. He will also be in Dinesh Vijan’s production, which will see Vicky play the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji. The film is slated to release this December but reports suggest, it could be postponed.
