Vikrant Massey has carved a niche for himself as one of the promising actors in Bollywood. With 12^th Fail, Sector 36 and The Sabarmati Report the actor had a phenomenal year. Amid back-to-back successes, another happiness he was basking in was of embracing fatherhood. Vikrant Massey and his wife Sheetal welcomed a baby boy last year and they are celebrating son Vardaan’s first birthday today. The actor shared an adorable post for the same.

Taking to his social media, the Hasseen Dillruba actor shared a pic with wife. He captioned, “What a Onederful journey with you @sheetalthakur. Happy one year of parenting. Vardaan couldn’t have asked for a greater Mother.” Replying to him, Sheetal commented, “Awww we love you Papa!! You are the best Dad.”

While Vikrant is shooting for his already committed projects, he shocked everyone by announcing his retirement. On December 2, he shared a note announcing retirement and penned down, “Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted!”

Vikrant Massey upcoming movies

On the work front, Vikrant is working on two films – Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. As per reports, Shanaya Kapoor will make her Bollywood debut with him in the latter film. The flicks will release in 2025. His other two reported projects include an OTT series with Rajkumar Hirani. The actor is also been roped in to play antagonist in Don 3 which stars Ranveer Singh.
