Virat-Anushka wedding: THIS MAN suggested Italy as a venue

When Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma refrained from having their wedding being made a public spectacle, they had no idea that despite having an abroad destination wedding, theirs would become a wedding of the year. And wedding of the year it was. Replete with pastels, flowers, the most romantic songs, Anushka’s blush and Virat’s stare at her agape, this was one beautiful ceremony which gave millions of us across the world go aww, collectively.

However, given both Virat and Anushka are quite outspoken stars, and have a large fan following, it was quite odd to see them shunning the limelight and having a private wedding, without even a whiff whatsoever. But now, we know who is the man behind the same.

While we have told you about the dedicated people who kept their lips shut and brains going to make this the most beautiful day of the couple’s life, who was it who induced all the secrecy around the wedding? None other than the man who is the mentor of Anushka, and himself notorious for literally running away from media.

Well, a source close to the filmmaker quoted to Deccan Chronicle, “It was his idea that Anushka and Virat have their wedding in Italy. Even though we respect the fact that Virat and Anushka wanted a private wedding, we are slightly hurt by the fact that the presence of paparazzi and the official coverage of these amazing moments were rendered and speculated to be spectacle by Adi.
