Yami Gautam was recently spotted secretly watching Dhurandhar 2, aka Dhurandhar The Revenge, in a crowded theatre. She was seen hiding her face and signalling her sister Surilie to stay quiet, ensuring she wouldn’t be recognised by the audience.

A video shared by Surilie Gautam on her social media on Thursday, which Yami later reshared, captured this candid moment. In the clip, the actress is seated among a full house, watching the film discreetly. She is seen covering her face and gesturing to Surilie to keep quiet so that nobody in the theatre would notice her presence.

In her caption, Surilie expressed her excitement and pride, writing, “Take a bow yet again for the one and only @adityadharfilms — another masterpiece!! Spectacular film, and we are incredibly proud of you. Over the moon celebrating your success, and my beautiful sister, the pillar of strength and luck, @yamigautam. Love you guys, and let’s party now!”

Yami responded to the post by resharing it on her social media with a simple, “Love you.” In the video, she appears visibly shy as she watches her cameo appearance in Dhurandhar 2. She is seen hiding her face and placing a finger on her lips, signalling Surilie to stay quiet so she wouldn’t be recognised in the theatre.

Yami Gautam is married to filmmaker Aditya Dhar, who directed the Dhurandhar franchise. The sequel, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, has been receiving a strong response from audiences, building on the success of the first instalment, which was released in December. The sequel hit theatres on March 19, with Yami making a cameo as a nurse. Aditya Dhar is also known for directing the hit movie Uri, starring Vicky Kaushal.
