Baahubali 2

The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ has done a business of Rs 245 crore in the first week, breaking the record of Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dangal’ that minted Rs 192.38 crore in its first week. Going by the massive collection of the Hindi version of ‘Baahubali 2’, it looks like the film will quickly surpass the lifetime collection of ‘Dangal’ within few days. The collection excludes the South India markets as the Hindi version had a limited release in South. If the Hindi version would have got a wider release, the movie would have easily crossed Rs 300 crore in the first week.(Also Read: Decoded: This is how much our ‘Baahubali 2’ stars earned as their salary)

The first week collection of ‘Baahubali 2’ has already beaten the lifetime business of many films. The Hindi version of ‘Baahubali 2’ alone seems to have that power to surpass the business done by big films like ‘Sultan’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, and probably by the next weekend it may even cross the lifetime business of ‘Dangal’ and ‘PK’. ‘Baahubali 2’ stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal parts.
