We are sure that beating the box office record of ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ will be quite difficult for a film. The Hindi dubbed version of the movie had collected Rs 510 crore at the box office, and we all had been waiting to see as to which Bollywood movie would beat this record.

Currently, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is ruling the box office and it is highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017. Well, we are yet to know if the lifetime collection of ‘TZH’ will be more than ‘Baahubali 2’ (Hindi dubbed version) or not, but recently the Salman-starrer broke a record that was made by the Prabhas’ film.

‘Baahubali 2’ (Hindi dubbed version) had collected Rs 16.53 crore on its second Monday,making it the highest second Monday collection for any movie. However, this record has been broken by ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial collected Rs 18 crore approx. on its second Monday. Well, we cannot ignore the fact that it was a public Holiday on Monday (1stJan), but still beating a record made by ‘Baahubali 2’ is surely a big deal.

The total collection of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is Rs 280.04 crore till now. It looks like the lifetime collection of the movie will be around Rs 320-330 crore. However, if it continues to do well in its third week too then it might easily reach Rs 350 crore. Tiger Shroff has been hailed as the new action star of Bollywood, ever since his film ‘Baaghi 2’ hit the theaters. The collections of the Ahmed Khan directorial has not been affected by Varun Dhawan‘s recent release ‘October’. The film has managed to collect Rs. 150 crores and counting. The ‘Heropanti‘ star even tweeted his thanks to his fans for their love.

On the other hand Shoojit Sircar directorial ‘October’ that had a slow start at the box office is slowly picking up. On the second day the collections have picked up at Rs. 7 crores and now the total collections stands at Rs.11.50 crores.

The positive word of mouth publicity is bringing good results.

Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer ‘October’ has hit the theaters to a mixed response. The Shoojit Sircar directorial that has got rave reviews from critics has managed to earn Rs. 4.50-4.75 on its first day.

Compared to Varun’s other films it has garnered a luke warm response from viewers. Judwaa 2 had managed to earn Rs. 15 crores on its first day and within 5 days it had entered the 100 crore club. (Also Read: Varun Dhawan opens up on his character Dan in ‘October’

Hopes are high that due to Baisakhi and Vishu holidays there will be an increase in the footfalls and positive word of mouth will take the Shoojit Sircar directorial to a new high.
