Force 2 and Tum Bin 2

This weekend wasn’t a great one for the newly released movies, ‘Force 2’ and ‘Tum Bin 2’. John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Force 2’ did a business of Rs 7.25 crore on Sunday, slightly better than Saturday which takes the overall 3 days business of the movie to Rs 18.50 crore. It’s not that great, but better than films like ‘Akira’ and ‘Rocky Handsome’.

In fact, the movie earned Rs 4 crore more than the 2011 action flick ‘Force’. Mumbai was the only city to have managed decent numbers. The weekend numbers were not up to the mark, but if the numbers show a rise on Monday, then the movie still has a chance.

The other release ‘Tum Bin 2’ starring Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati was dull over the weekend. The movie collected Rs 1 crore on Sunday which takes the three day business of the movie to Rs 2.45 crore. The film will not even manage to do the business that ‘Tum Bin’ did in the year 2001. Well, it looks like the demonetisation issue which is still going on has resulted in poor numbers.
