Harshvardhan Kapoor’s debut film ‘Mirzya’ a romantic drama tanked at the box-office and unfortunately the first day collections of his second film ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ a vigilante drama are not at all impressive.

According to a report in Box Office India, this Vikramaditya Motwane directorial had a very low collection of mere 25-30 lakhs net approx at the box-office. The film opened to some mixed reviews from the film critics and after looking at its first-day collection it seems like the film will struggle to attract more crowd over the weekend.

This should not come as a surprise for its director Vikramaditya whose previous films ‘Udaan’ and ‘Trapped’ too opened to similar collections with both earning 29 and 25 lakhs respectively on their opening day. Vikramaditya’s films are generally not typical mass entertainers and perhaps that’s the reason why ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ too failed to create any buzz before its release. Also, ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’clashing with ‘Veere Di Wedding’ which is a commercial film, is another reason why its collections are so low.

Now it has to be seen if the film’s collection picks up over the weekend or not. Till then stay tuned for more interesting updates.
