‘Hate Story 4’ beats ‘3 Storeys’ and ‘Dil Juunglee’ on opening day
The ‘Hate Story’ franchise has been a success right from its first edition. It is also one of only few Bollywood franchises to have had four films as part of it as of yet. Yesterday, as the Urvashi Rautela, Vivaan Bhathena, Karan Wahi and Ihana Dhillon-starrer hit the screens, it collected an amount of Rs 3.25 crore approx. ‘Dil Juunglee’ has recorded a poor opening, minting Rs 25 lakhs approx. ‘3 Storeys’, on the other hand, stands with a first-day collection of Rs 35 lakhs approx.
‘Hate Story 4’, although it holds a better position that its competitors, has failed to beat the first-day business of the previous edition. ‘Hate Story 3‘ had recorded an opening day of Rs 8.5 crore approx, and remains the highest opener among all four as of yet.

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Dhadak’ is finally live in the theaters and this debutant couple is garnering excellent reviews from critics and the audience as well for their excellent performance in the film.
The film which is a remake of the hit Marathi film ‘Sairat’ has opened on a good note at the box office. ‘Dhadak’ had a morning occupancy of 35% to 40% and with a total of 2791 screens worldwide (India: 2235 Overseas: 556) the film is set to register good numbers on day one at the box office.
Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan recently said that he is feeling happy the way his film turned out to be. There was not a trace of nervousness about Khaitan during the screening of the film. When asked about his feeling. He said, “I am feeling calm and composed because of the way this film has turned out to be. I am really happy with it.”
“The gun has been fired and now nothing is in our hands. So, I am just excited about the audience reaction. Praying that they will like the film.”
Talking about the initial response to ‘Dhadak’ from the film industry, Khaitan said, “Till now, everything is going good. Our friends, families and crew are really excited to see the final product.”
“We will know honest reaction tomorrow once it gets released among the audience but as of now, I am feeling good as many people have seen it and tweeted about it on the social media. We are really happy with the film and excited to know audience reaction.”
When asked about producer Karan Johar‘s reaction after watching the film, Khaitan said, “I am standing here happy that means he has praised the film. Karan is really happy and he said he was proud to have made this movie but it is not right we praise our own film. We want audience to watch the film and talk about it.”
‘Dhadak’ is a romantic drama. It is directed by Shashank Khaitan, produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios.

'Sanju' beats 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' becomes the fourth highest grosser of Bollywood!
