John Abraham starrer ‘Rocky Handsome’ collects Rs 1.84 crore on opening day

John Abraham’s action thriller ‘Rocky Handsome’ released worldwide on Friday. The movie in which the actor plays a saviour to a little girl kidnapped by the drug mafia received a mixed response from the critics, but the collections generated from the previews have been a good start.

As a promotional strategy, ‘Rocky Handsome’ was released one day earlier (on Thursday). So it managed  to collect a good amount of Rs 1.84 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted this figure on his Twitter account.

Beginning on a good note on the front of collections, it could be assumed that this Nishikant Kamat directorial can expect a rise in collections on the weekdays.

‘Rocky Handsome’ stars director Nishikant Kamat playing the role of prime antagonist Kevin Pereira with child actress Diya Chalwad and Shruti Haasan in a special appearance.
