‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’ strikes a century on box office pitch

Continuing its terrific innings at the box office, ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’ has finally crossed the coveted 100-crore mark, taking its total collections to Rs 101 crores. The eleventh day collection was Rs 2 crores, which is more than even the first day collections of some new releases.

The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer has won the hearts of all and sundry and impressed the critics too with heartfelt rendition of Indian skipper’s life. The box office figures are ringing with pleasure.

Coming to the three releases of last week, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher starrer ‘Mirzya’ is turning out to be a disaster, with just Rs 1 crore as the Monday collection, taking the total box office collection to Rs 6 crores. On the other hand, Prabhudheva, Sonu Sood, and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ collected a dismal amount of Rs 25 lakh, taking the total collections to Rs 1.60 crores.

Surprsingly, ‘MSG- The Warrior Lion Heart’ has managed to garner around Rs 3.75 crores, with main collections coming from the Haryana belt of Punjab.

Well, ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is looking forward to closing its numbers on an impressive figure, now that it has already entered the 100-crore club. On the other hand, things are certainly bleak for ‘Mirzya’ and ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’. Let’s see if these too can pick up during the festive season.
