Despite the terrible reviews, ‘Marjaavaan’ is running its way to the bank. The makers of the movie are basking in the glory of the movie earning the big bucks at the ticket windows. The first weekend for the film has been unexpectedly profitable. The makers of the movie are having a gala time. The first weekend’s box-office collections are finally out.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news. He wrote, “#Marjaavaan jumps on Day 3… Healthy weekend… Finds patronage from mass markets… Large chunk of biz from single screens… Multiplexes of Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities better… Mon biz is decider… Fri 7.03 cr, Sat 7.21 cr, Sun 10.18 cr. Total: ₹ 24.42 cr. #India biz (sic).

‘Marjaavaan’ has been getting some of the most pathetic reviews this year. The film’s story has been panned heavily as it is one of the most convoluted plots of all time. To add to it, the acting in the movie isn’t at any level up to the mark. It’s commendable that the film has earned Rs 24.42 Cr in just the first weekend. The real test of the movie will begin now from today. If the film manages to make good moolah on the weekdays, then maybe it could turn out to be a sleeper hit of the year.
