Trade Expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news. He wrote, “#Mom puts up an impressive total in *3 weeks* in #China… Total till 30 May 2019: $ 15.72 million [₹ 109.71 cr]… All eyes on Hrithik Roshan’s debut film in #China… As you read this, Hrithik has just reached #Beijing to promote #Kaabil, which releases on 5 June 2019 (sic).” Check out the tweet right here:

Sridevi’s ‘Mom’ has earned Rs 109.71 cr at the box-office in China, which is much more than what it earned at the Indian box-office. It feels good to see such a great movie finally get its due moolah.

Sridevi’s ‘Mom’ was her last solo film, and she was possibly seen only in a small cameo in ‘Zero’ after that. From ‘Dangal’ to ‘Secret Superstar’ and from ‘Hindi Medium’ to ‘Andhadhun’, all movies have done great business in China. Will Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ be able to garner that many eyeballs in the country? Well, only time will tell.
