Padmaavat: Ranveer and Shahid FINALLY get an entry in Rs 200 crore club

Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Padmaavat’ is making noise all over and for all the right reasons. The film is garnering accolades from all corners and it is needless to day that the stars are on cloud 9 with all the success. Looking at the box office numbers, the makers of ‘Padmaavat’ have all the reasons to be happy. The film after its second weekend has finally made it to Rs 200 crore club.

Going by the statistics, the second weekend collection of the film was Rs 43.50 crore. The film witnessed a good hike in numbers over the second weekend and helped the film to reach Rs 200 crore target. The total collection of this film stands at Rs 203 crore. With this, we can also say that Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have finally got their deserved entry into the glorious Rs 200 crore club. Deepika has had reached this level, thanks to her film ‘Happy New Year’, but for Ranveer and Shahid, it is their first.
