Veerappan and Phobia

This Friday, we had a hoard of films making it to the theatres. We had Radhika Apte‘s ‘Phobia’ clashing with Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Veerappan’. To add on to this we had, Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah showing off their acting prowess in ‘Waiting’. So with so many films clashing at the box-office, which one is racing ahead by attracting maximum number of audience? Well, so far, it’s Radhika Apte’s ‘Phobia’ that has managed to enthral the audience.

As per the reports, ‘Phobia’ has managed to double the numbers incurred by the film on Day 1. It had collected approximately 20 lakh on its opening day and has just shown an upward trend on day 2. All thanks to the positive reviews received by the film. On the other hand, RGV’s ‘Veerappan’ fell flat on Day 2. The movie receive mixed reviews from the critics and did not witness any growth in the box-office collection on day 2. The film had collected 1 crore 25 lakh on day one and the figure remained the same on day 2 as well.

The third one, ‘Waiting’ is running decent in the theatres.
