'Raman Raghav 2.0', 'Junooniyat', '7 Hours To Go' First Day Business only 1 crore 70 lakh

This looks like a dry weekend for all the new Hindi releases. The total first day collections are only 1 crore 70 lakh of all the three movies combined – ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, ‘Junooniyat’, ‘7 Hours To Go‘. That’s very low.

‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ was comparatively better than the other two with collections of 80 lakh, whereas ‘Junooniyat’ and ‘7 Hours To Go’ garnered only 55 lakh and 35 lakh respectively.

None of the movies could even reach 1 crore on the first day of their release. The other releases had collections which could not even reach 10 lakhs nett.

The Hollywood release Independence Day – Resurgence was better than the Hindi releases as it grossed 3.75 crore which is not too great, but considering the fact that the Hindi movies faired poorly, this was okay.

The really low Friday business of all 3 movies just denotes that this won’t be a great weekend business for the 3 movies.

‘Raman Raghav 2.0’  and ‘7 Hours To Go’ are thrillers and ‘Junooniyat’ a love story, but still none of the movies seem to have interested our moviegoers. Let’s still watch out how much these movies are able to earn today and tomorrow.
