The docu-drama ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams‘ which is based on the life story of Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar did an average box office business on its first Tuesday. The movie minted Rs 3 crore nett on Tuesday and that takes its five-day total to Rs 30 crore nett in the Hindi version. Going by the current trend of business, the movie could possibly do a business of Rs 35 crore nett in the first week and that’s a good amount for a documentary film. Considering the fact that there is a very limited audience for this genre, it’s a pretty good number for the movie. Talking about ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ (Hindi), the movie has created a fifth week record as it went on to do a business of Rs 10 crore nett in the fifth week. So, the overall collection of the movie in the Hindi language is Rs 497.53 crore nett. The movie is heading for Rs 500 crore mark in the Hindi language. The movie has created records in each week since the beginning and let’s see if it’s able to sustain itself in the sixth and seventh week.
