Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ fails to impress with its first Monday collection

We had high hopes from Salman Khan‘s latest film ‘Tubelight’. Especially after the record-breaking run of ‘Baahubali 2’, we were expecting that ‘Tubelight’ will at least reach somewhere close to that collection. But unfortunately, ‘Tubelight’ has failed to make it big at the box office. The film had an average start on Friday and then showed a slight jump over the weekend. But, on Monday, the film dropped. It was Eid on Monday and we had high hopes that people would flock the theatres, but unfortunately the scene was a total opposite.

As per the reports, Monday collection of ‘Tubelight’ was Rs 18.50 crore. It was less than the collection of last three days. The total collection of ‘Tubelight’ now stands at Rs 81.25 crore at the box office which is way below expectations.
