The Kashmir Files is one film that proves that content is the king. Fans are showering the film with so much love that it is currently setting some high records at the box office. As per trade experts, the film’s pace is almost similar to what Baahubali 2 had when it was released in 2017. Talking about The Kashmir Files box office collections, Anupam Kher starrer has already crossed the 100 crore mark on day 8. Now, the film has minted Rs 24.80 crores on Saturday, thus making the grand total to Rs 141.25 crores at the domestic markets.

Interestingly, Vivek Agnihotri directorial began by collecting around Rs 3 crores and since then, the film is only growing. In 9 days, The Kashmir Files hasn’t seen a dip as it is soaring high at the box office. Going by the latest trends, the film now is gearing up to hit the 150 crore mark. However, it can comfortably touch the 175 crore mark as well at the end of the second week.

Friday: Rs 3.55 crore 

Saturday: Rs 8.50 crores

Sunday: Rs 15.10 crores

Monday: Rs 15.05 crores

Tuesday: Rs 18 crores

Wednesday: Rs 19.05 crores

Thursday: Rs 18.05 crores

Friday: Rs 19.15 crores (Week 2)

Saturday: Rs 24.80 crores

People are getting emotional after seeing The Kashmir Files. Even Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi watched the film and praised the director for making a film on this. Modi said in Hindi (that is translated in English as), “There can be many aspects of truth and different views, those who think it is not correct can make their own film, but they are shocked that the truth that they tried to suppress is now coming out with the backing of facts and efforts. The entire ecosystem is involved in it”.
