Tiger’s ‘Baaghi 2’ surpasses weekend collection of ‘PadMan’ and ‘Raid’ in just 2 days
Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’ took a flying start at the box office by collecting Rs 25 crore on day one. It has registered the highest day one collection of the year beating Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’.
Well, on day two the film showed a drop and collected Rs 20.50 crore approx. taking the two day total to Rs 45.50 crore approx. In just two days, Tiger has beaten the weekend collection of Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid’ which is excellent. ‘PadMan’ had collected approx. Rs 38.80 crore while ‘Raid’ had collected approx. Rs 38.63 crore at the box office by the end of first weekend. On the other hand, Rani Mukerji-starrer ‘Hichki’ is sustaining well at the box office. The film on its second Saturday collected Rs 2.60 crore taking the till date total to Rs 30.85 crore. It is already a hit at the box office and if it continues to do well, it might reach the level of being a super hit.
‘Raid’ on its third Saturday collected Rs 1.90 crore which is good. The total collection of the film is Rs 89.26 crore. It’s a hit.
