Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab‘ had opened at the box office with a decent first-day collection of Rs 9.75 crore. On its first Tuesday, the film’s collection witnessed a slight downfall at the box office and managed to bag an amount of Rs 3.75 crore.

First Saturday, Sunday and Monday business of ‘Udta Punjab’ were Rs 11.25 crore, Rs 12.25 crore and Rs. 4.50 crore respectively. After Tuesday, its five days collection remains Rs. 41 crore.

Primary contributor to the film’s box office collection is East Punjab, following parts of North India. A gross amount of Rs 47 crore in the first week is being projected for the film.
