EXCLUSIVE: Not Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor will romance Kartik Aaryan in Dinesh Vijan’s next

EXCLUSIVE: Dinesh Vijan is putting together another big project. After the commercial failure of ‘Raabta’, many actors are wary of teaming up with Vijan now. But the filmmaker is producing a film, which will be directed by Laxman Utekar.

Cashing in on the blockbuster run of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, Dinesh has got Kartik Aaryan on board. The rom-com will have Kartik playing the male lead. Speculations were rife that Kriti Sanon was all set to romance Kartik in the film, but we hear from someone close to the actress that she has not even been offered the film.

Instead, Dinesh has roped in another Gen-Y heroine to star in his production venture. According to our exclusive sources, it will be Shraddha Kapoor who will be seen as Kartik’s love interest in the film. Dinesh and Shraddha have teamed up for ‘Stree’ which releases this year but in the horror comedy, the actress doesn’t have a full fledged role.

Also, it was during the release Kartik’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2,’ that he had expressed his desire to work with Shraddha in the future. So this is a dream come true for the actor.
