Akshay Kumar is one of the top actors in Bollywood today. Akshay began his career with Saugandh and had his first commercial success with action thriller Khiladi. Akshay has given several hits in his career. He has been a part of films like Singh Is Kinng, Pad Man, Kesari, and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha among others. However, there have been times when he has rejected films. For the uninitiated, Akshay rejected the hit film, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. At an event, Akshay had revealed the reason behind turning down the film.

At HT India’s Most Stylish Awards, Akshay had said, “Actually, I regret not doing that film. It was Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. I was offered that film but I opted for Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara.”

The actor added, “That’s the film I am very guilty of not doing it and not watching also.” Bhaag Milkha Bhaag starred Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, and Divya Dutta among others. The film based on the life of legendary Milkha Singh was a hit.

Over the years, Akshay has proved that he can he ace any genre.

Akshay is one of the highest-paid actors of Bollywood today. He has interesting projects in the pipeline. Recently, Akshay unveiled the first look of his Marathi debut film, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat. The actor will be essaying the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the upcoming film. Akshay has started shooting for the film.

Akshay will also be seen in Oh My God 2 with Pankaj Tripathi. The actor also has Gorkha, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi and Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru.
