Harikrishnans (1998) was a love triangle in which both Mammootty and Mohanlal’s characters fall in love with Juhi Chawla. However, in the end, the director Fazil was supposed to bring in Shah Rukh Khan as Juhi Chawla’s love interest. The actors had even shot a photo featuring SRK, Juhi and both the Malayalam superstars.

However, the makers decided against shooting the scene for undisclosed reasons. If everything had gone as planned then ‘Harikrishnans’ would have become King Khan’s debut movie in Malayalam!

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen in YRF’s Pathaan. The Siddharth Anand directorial also features Deepika Padukone as the leading lady. This the fourth film after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year that the actors will be sharing screen space in. The movie also has John Abraham as an antagonist and Salman Khan in an extended cameo.

SRK also has Atlee’s Jawan co-starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Next is Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu.
