When Shah Rukh Khan said son Aryan Khan ‘wants to be bigger than me’

Shah Rukh Khan shares a great bond with his three kids – Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. Talking about Aryan, in particular, Shah Rukh Khan is very close to him. King Khan is a proud dad as son Aryan will soon make his directorial debut. Ahead of that, we take a look back at the time when Shah Rukh Khan said that Aryan wants to be ‘bigger’ than him. He had also described his son as ‘nice, strong boy’.

In an interview with IANS, King Khan had said, “My kids are extremely sorted… They are more sorted than I am. Strangely, people would expect the star kids to be spoiled, but they are damn good kids.”

Talking about his elder one, King Khan said, “Aryan is a nice, strong boy. He talks about his ambitions, and where he would like to be one day. But he’s very clear that way. He just wants to be bigger than me and that’s cool.”

The Pathaan actor had also revealed that Aryan is not interested in acting and he’s more into making films. For the uninitiated, Aryan is set to make his Bollywood debut as a director. Last year, Aryan revealed that his upcoming directorial debut project will be backed by his parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. Aryan had shared a picture of his first film script along with the caption, “Wrapped with the writing… can’t wait to say action.” Shah Rukh Khan showed his support by commenting, “Wow… thinking… believing… dreaming done, now onto dare…. Wish u the best for the first one. It’s always special.”

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan, he will be seen in Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The trailer will be out on 10^th January. The film is slated to release on 25^th January, 2023. Apart from this, he also has Dunki and Jawan in the pipeline.
