Sharing the pictures, Dia wrote, “Theatre was such an intrinsic part of our education. We scripted many of our stories along with our teachers. Our scripts would be English, some Hindi, some Telugu… We performed well known works but often opted for originals! The first image is from a story about a forest and how the animals and birds lived together. @narniaa the rabbit, @aditibhoopalpradipak the elephant, Nitya a parrot, Sheetal were you a fox!?! ????? The second image ?? is of Vishnu and me playing the sea horse and the mermaid??‍♀️ in a wondrous sea world completely handcrafted by our class and teachers… The costumes, the props, the script would all be open to our unique interpretations. We had freedom to be. Just be. Happy #WorldTheatreDay ❤️ #StayHomeStaySafe #VisitOldMemories (sic).” Check out the pics right here:
