Sonam Kapoor Anil Kapoor in a film

Anil Kapoor is currently busy promoting his film ‘Mubarakan’ which stars his nephew Arjun Kapoor alongside him. We are sure fans of Anil are also keen to see him on the big screen with his children Harshvardhan Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.

Well, there have been reports of Anil teaming with Harshvardhan for the biopic of Abhinav Bindra. In the movie, Anil will be seen playing the role of Abhinav’s father, and Harshvardhan will portray the role of the Olympic winner. Recently, when we met Anil for an interview, we asked him as to how excited he is to share screen space with his son in Abhinav Bindra’s biopic. The actor replied, , “It’s too early to talk about it. Today when you do a film, there are too many layers, too many boxes which you to tick mark. The script, the story, the casting, the studio, the budgets, the technical, the HODs; all the things have to come together. And when they come together you have to prep for the film, work hard and then the film happens. Definitely there are talks which are happening. Not only with Harsh, I might be doing a film with Sonam as well. When the things come together, I am sure you all will come to know about it.”

“At the moment I can say that I am promoting ‘Mubarakan’, flying to New York tonight for IIFA, then exactly after 38 hours I comeback. I am doing workshops for ‘Fanney Khan’, growing this hair for the film. I have done a pilot for the Amazon, ‘Oasis’. If it’s greenlit, I will shoot that show which is directed by Kevin Macdonald. So, everything is very tentative. I don’t know what the future holds for me,” he added.

Well, we are now quite excited to see Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor on the big screen together. (Also Read: Anil Kapoor shares his ‘Mubarakan’ moment)
