Sandeep Singh

Recently, we engaged in an exclusive conversation with producer of ‘Bhoomi’, Sandeep Singh. The movie marks the comeback of Sanjay Dutt and is nearing its release date. So, we asked the man to narrate some interesting behind-the-scene incident from the sets of the movie.

He started off by saying, “So, there used to be really long scenes and Baba (Sanjay Dutt) never used to take anything seriously. He used to laugh, he used to make us laugh. The mood on the sets was never ever serious. We used to always talk about what to eat today, where to go today for darshan and should we got to eat chaat in the gallis of Agra or what do we plan for the night. And amidst this all, our movie ‘Bhoomi’ was made.”

He added, “There were small small issues in Agra, but I think those are a part and parcel of life. And we need to face them, we need to sort it out. Problems come only to get solved.”

When asked if the constant clicking of pictures by photographers and people scared him of information getting leaked, he said, “That’s what we trying to stop but I think for that, people themselves have to be educated and I’m happy that he (photographer) was doing his job and we were doing our job and in that some clashes happened. But it’s okay. However, I would still like to apologise for the incident. But, somewhere down the line I feel that when people spot a celebrity they create a mountain out of a molehill which is wrong. We cannot take benefit of these facts.” (Also Read: Exclusive: It took Sanjay Dutt 3 minutes before he agreed to do ‘Bhoomi’, says producer)
