Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and injuries go hand in hand. Unfortunately, the superstar suffers so many setbacks while shooting for his films that sure gets physically taxing for him. Knowing the dedicated soul that he is, SRK prefers to do major stunts on his own, but for his upcoming film ‘Raees’, the superstar had to make use of a body double as he was not physically fit to carry out some stunts.

During the promotional interviews of ‘Raees’, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that during the shooting of ‘FAN’ he incurred a knee injury. And because of this injury he had to make use of a duplicate to carry out a few chase sequences in ‘Raees’. He could not run swiftly because of his injury, and hence in few long shots, the makers had to make use of body double. On the same note, SRK also said that he feels a little bad to do so.

When asked about action sequences in Raees he said, “I got very badly injured during the shooting of ‘FAN’. Injured as in my knee has got a problem. My patella is broken. I need to do something about it. It is a big injury so it gets all painful. That’s why the film (Raees) got delayed also. It was difficult to do rooftop chase. Normally running and all, I do it in all my films like I did in ‘FAN’. But in this I have used a bit of duplicate which I really feel bad about. But then I couldn’t help it as we had to finish it and the sets were already there, so that was really painful.”
