Imran Khan admits he was a ‘fool’ to quit acting, hints at his comeback soon – Read on

Actor Imran Khan who has quit acting post Katti Batti has left everyone by surprise with his recent comment on social media. An Instagram user posted a comment saying she wants to see a comeback of Imran Khan. To which, he replied that once he gets 1m likes to his comment then he will think about his comeback. Since then, fans have only waiting to know if Imran Khan will make a comeback to Bollywood. Amidst the comeback rumours, the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane actor took to his Instagram stories and revealed why he is looking at the past so much.

Imran Khan on having negative mindset

The first story read, “If you’re wondering why I am looking at the past so much, it’s because I’m reshaping my relationships with my films. To be clear, I’m not blaming anyone for anything; all opinions are valid and not everyone will like the same things… That’s normal. Unfortunately, at the time, I was only able to look at things from a negative mindset. As such, here’s how I remembered Break Ke Baad.“

In the next Instagram story, he dropped screenshots of the critics who criticised him for his performance in Break Ke Baad also starring Deepika Padukone. In another story, he said “That was then” and dropped several screenshots of the comments from fans who loved the movie.

“And here’s where I realised my mistake; I paid so much heed to the voices that hurt… and I never valued the voices that loved. What a fool. I won’t make that mistake again. Thank you all for helping me change my perspective.” Imran thanked fans for changing his mindset.

Imran Khan shares on Break Ke Baad

The Kidnap actor shared a post from his movie Break Ke Baad with Deepika Padukone. He penned, “In the summer of 2010, I went to Mauritius to shoot Break Ke Baad. We swam every day, ate a lot of seafood, sampled Mauritian rum (potent), and made some friends for life. It was a blast. Apparently, in between all the revelries, we managed to make a film as well. This one always had a special place in my heart, because of how much I enjoyed making it. I can’t show you many of the behind the scenes photographs, as it may compromise the modesty of certain individuals… but here’s a glimpse.”

Reacting to the post, Deepika Padukone commented, “Soo True!” With so much buzz about his comeback, Imran Khan is said to be doing a spy drama action series that will stream on OTT. The series is going to be directed by Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na director Abbas Tyrewala.
