Mahi Gill

Mahi Gill is predominantly active in the Punjabi film industry and has appeared in a fair number of Bollywood films as well. She is best known for playing Paro in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Ded V’, a modern-day adaptation of the classic Bengali novel ‘Devdas’. Mahi’s performance in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ;Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster’ garnered praise too. Some of notable films in her filmography are ‘Dabangg’, ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, ‘Not A Love Story’ and ‘Gulaal’. She has done ten odd Punjabi films. In 2010, she won the Filmfare Critics Awards for Best Actress, for her performance in ‘Dev D’.
