Arjun Kapoor Parineeti Chopra new film

5 years after he debuted alongside Parineeti Chopra in ‘Ishaqzaade’, he is set to reunite with his first co-star; this time for a Dibakar Banerjee film. Titled ‘Sandeep and Pinky Faraar’, the film revolves around two individuals who represent two completely different sides of India. Not love, but this time hatred, mistrust and suspicion are what unite them.

“This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a woman who can’t stand each other but can’t survive without each other,” said Dibakar Banerjee. (Also Read: Parineeti Chopra quashes rumours of doing a film with Hrithik Roshan

Arjun, who is elated to be back to Yash Raj Films, said, “It feels great to be back home at YRF working with Adi sir and Parineeti, my most amazing and first ever co-actor. Dibakar Banerjee is a name synonymous with being the torchbearer of evolving new age cinema that engages and entertains. I can’t wait to work under his tutelage and vision.”

Parineeti, who is now working on Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal 4’, is equally excited to finally have an opportunity of collaborating with Banerjee.

“His films are so different and always make an impact. I am so ready to bite my teeth into this character and give the audience something intense,” she said.

The film was officially announced by Yash Raj Films on their Twitter handle.
