In December 2025, Dhurandhar made a massive splash at the box office, and by March 2026, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, aka Dhurandhar 2, is continuing its legacy. Starring Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian secret agent who infiltrates the Lyari underworld and rises to become its king. It broke records during its preview shows and, despite a slight dip in attendance on the second day of its theatrical release, it made a significant impact by crossing the Rs 200 crore milestone in just 2 days.

On March 18, 2026, the film’s makers held paid preview shows for Dhurandhar 2. Although some shows faced delays and cancellations across India due to technical issues, the film still managed to post impressive numbers. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 43 crore from paid previews on Wednesday, followed by Rs 102.55 crore on its first official day. However, on day two, the movie saw a decline earning Rs 80.72 crore nett domestically on Friday.

The film was officially released in theatres on 19 March, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian spy who goes deep undercover in Karachi under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. The film follows Hamza’s ascent in Lyari’s criminal underworld as he works to dismantle terror networks while pursuing a personal vendetta.

The sequel to the 2025 hit also sees R. Madhavan returning as Ajay Sanyal and Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam. Arjun Rampal reprises his role as Major Iqbal, with Sara Arjun playing Ranveer’s love interest, Yalina. Additionally, Yami Gautam makes a special cameo appearance in the film.
