Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office Day 7

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge has taken the box office by storm and won hearts across the globe. Led by Ranveer Singh, the spy action thriller delivers gripping plot twists, powerful music, and intense, high-octane action. Moreover, its gritty and gory visuals have kept audiences hooked. The film hit theatres on Thursday, March 19, with paid previews in select Indian cities a day earlier. Since then, it has impressed audiences both in India and overseas—and its box office numbers clearly reflect that success.

Dhurandhar 2 Enters Rs 1000 Cr Club In FIRST Week

According to Sacnilk reports, Dhurandhar The Revenge crossed the massive Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide in just 7 days. With this, it emerged as the joint fastest Indian film ever to achieve this milestone. Not only did the sequel meet expectations, but it also went beyond them, delivering a record-breaking run that stunned both trade analysts and audiences.

The film opened to a historic weekend. Then, it maintained strong momentum through the weekdays. Unlike most big releases, it showed minimal drops across key markets. In fact, it became the biggest first-week grosser in a single language, surpassing Pushpa 2: The Rule’s Rs 425 crore Hindi net first-week collection. Strong word of mouth, repeat value, and wide appeal across regions kept theatres packed. Both domestic and overseas markets contributed heavily to this milestone.

Breaking down the numbers, the film earned Rs 745 crores in India alone. Meanwhile, it collected Rs 260 crores overseas within 7 days. Currently, the biggest 7-day global total belongs to Pushpa 2, which minted Rs 1011 crore. Now, all eyes remain on whether Dhurandhar 2 can surpass that figure, depending on its ongoing overseas performance.

What stands out even more is the film’s consistency. Most big-budget films slow down after the opening weekend. However, Dhurandhar 2 held steady. It continued to draw crowds, signalling a rare box-office phenomenon. Its strong performance in mass circuits, along with solid urban occupancy, created a perfect storm at the ticket windows.

Dhurandhar 2 Becomes The 10th Film To Cross Rs 1000 Cr

With this achievement, Dhurandhar 2 became the 10th Indian film of all time to cross Rs 1000 crore globally. Among Bollywood films, it stands as the 5th film to do so after Pathaan, Jawan, Dhurandhar, and Dangal. Trade experts already predict a long and dominant run, with several more records within reach. At this pace, the film is not just a blockbuster; it is shaping up to become a defining moment for modern Indian cinema. For context, the first instalment, released in December 2025, grossed over Rs 1350 crore worldwide.

Currently, Pushpa 2: The Rule holds the record as the highest-grossing film in India with Rs 1471.10 crores across all languages. So, can Dhurandhar 2 beat this number and become the biggest Indian blockbuster ever? Interestingly, trade experts are not even focusing on this comparison right now. Instead, they predict a much higher lifetime total for Aditya Dhar’s film, so much so that Pushpa 2’s record might not even remain the benchmark. The coming days will reveal the outcome.
