The film has set the cash registers ringing, thanks to a phenomenal second weekend performance that has left everyone stunned.

Directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, Kantara Chapter 1 has not only struck a chord with audiences across India but is also making waves internationally. It has been bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the banner of Hombale Films. Kantara: Chapter 1 is directed by Rishab Shetty. For his performance in the 2022 film, Rishab earned the National Film Award for Best Actor. The movie had also bagged the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Also starring Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah and Jayaram in key roles. Kantara: Chapter 1 features cinematography by Arvind S Kashyap. The editing was done by Suresh, music by B Ajaneesh Loknath, and production design by Banglan.
