MAA Box Office Day 3: Kajol’s Mythological Horror Wraps 1st Weekend; Inches Close To Rs 20 Cr

Actress Kajol hit the big screen with a mythological horror film called Maa. The film had a slow start on Friday but improved over the weekend. In three days, Maa earned a total of Rs 17.9 crore. On its first day, the movie made Rs 4.65 crore. It picked up slightly on Saturday with Rs 6.26 crore and earned Rs 6.71 crore on Sunday.

Even though reviews were mixed, the film’s blend of mythology and horror attracted many viewers. On Sunday, the average Hindi audience turnout was 30.99%. Morning shows had 10.71% occupancy, while afternoon and evening shows saw 35.57% and 46.68%, respectively.
