MAA Box Office Day 5: Kajol’s Mythological Horror Maintains Momentum; Mints Total Rs 23 Cr

Kajol returned to the big screen after three years with the mythological horror film Maa. Directed by Vishal Furia, the movie received mixed reviews when it was released. On its first day, Maa earned Rs 4.65 crore, which was considered a slow start. However, the film began to perform better from the second day onward. By the fifth day, which was a Tuesday, Maa showed a strong rise in earnings. According to box office estimates from Sacnilk, it made Rs 2.85 crore on Day 5.

This was an improvement from Monday, when the movie earned Rs 2.5 crore. So far, the total collection of the film stands at Rs 23 crore. While Maa didn’t have a strong opening, its earnings have steadily grown, showing that audience interest may be building. The film continues to perform decently at the box office as its first week progresses.
