MAA Box Office Day 7: Kajol's Mythological Horror Crosses Rs 25 Cr In One Week

Kajol’s mythological horror film Maa is performing steadily at the box office, crossing the Rs 25 crore mark in its first week. Directed by Vishal Furia, the movie has managed to hold its own despite strong competition from big films like Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par and Kannappa.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Maa earned Rs 1.65 crore on Day 7, following Rs 1.85 crore on Day 6. This brings its total domestic collection to Rs 26.65 crore. Though there was a slight dip in the middle of the week, strong word-of-mouth and audience support helped maintain momentum.

The film had a solid opening weekend, earning Rs4.65 crore on Friday, Rs 6 crore on Saturday, and Rs 7 crore on Sunday. It continued to perform well on weekdays, collecting Rs 2.5 crore on Monday and Rs 2.85 crore on Tuesday.
