O’Romeo Box Office Day 3: Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri’s Action Romance Mints Rs 11 Cr Despite India VS Pakistan Match; Nears Rs 35 Cr Mark

Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo has impressed the audience and how! The Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri-starrer – that had a promising opening of Rs 9.01 crore nett, has managed to pull a lot more people to theatres on Sunday, February 15, despite the high-profile India VS Pakistan cricket match airing on TV.

While the film didn’t earn as much as it did on Valentine’s Day, it still managed to earn over Rs 10 crore. Read on to know the film’s exact box office numbers.

As per the latest box office report, O’Romeo minted double digit on its day 3 despite the India Vs Pakistan match. After a steady opening on Friday, the film registering an impressive 61% growth. While it’s Day 3 collection was lower than that of Valentine’s Day, the film’s nett collection of Rs 11 crore on Sunday, took the romantic actioner’s earning to a respectable Rs 34.51 Cr (Nett India) over the opening weekend.

The hype surround the Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri-led film is all thanks to positive word of mouth reviews, its catchy but still heart touching music album and impeccable acting. Audience will not have to wait to see if the film manages to pass the Monday test with flying colours.
