Sikandar Box Office: Salman Khan’s Latest Film Smashes Records; Emerges As The Biggest Eid Release In Last 3 Years

Salman Khan has done it again. His latest film, Sikandar, has stormed past the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office, and let’s be honest—this credit belongs entirely to one man: Salman Khan. While last year on Eid, the much anticipated film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opened to a mere Rs 16.07 cr and Maidaan struggled to fare double digits earning only Rs 4.5 crores on the box office, Sikandar’s opening day box office report stood at Rs27.50 cr. which was more than what the past Eid releases’ combined box office numbers.

Salman Khan’s Sikandar Crosses Rs 200 Cr Mark At Box Office

Bade Miyan Chote Miyaan wrapped up its run with a Rs 59.17 crore lifetime collection, while Maidaan earned Rs 52.29 crore. Sikandar, powered purely by Salman’s mass appeal, has more than doubled the combined lifetime collection of both these films.
