Early projections from Sacnilk indicate that The Diplomat made Rs 1.40 crore on Wednesday, March 19. On day six, the movie held up well. The Diplomat has already collected a total of Rs 17.65 crore, according to the newspaper.

About The Diplomat

The Diplomat is directed by Shivam Nair. It stars John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb in the leading roles. The film is based on the true story of Indian national Uzma Ahmad, who was rescued from Pakistan in 2017 after being allegedly honey-trapped and forced into marriage at gunpoint. It highlights senior diplomat JP Singh’s efforts to bring her back, with John Abraham portraying Singh in the film.
