Thug Life Box Office Day 11: Kamal Haasan’s Gangster Drama Faces Tough Road To Achieve Rs 50 Cr

Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam, has not performed well at the box office. After a decent start in its first few days, the movie’s earnings have slowly gone down. By Day 11, the film recorded its lowest collection so far.

Thug Life Struggles At The Box Office

Thug Life collected only Rs 69 lakh on its second Sunday. This marks a sharp drop from its earlier numbers as per Sacnilk. In the first week, the film earned a total of Rs 44 crore across all languages. Here is the breakdown of its first-week earnings the Tamil version Rs 38.3 crore, the Telugu version Rs 4.05 crore and the Hindi version: Rs 1.65 crore. Currently, the total box office collection of Thug Life stands at Rs 46.37 crore.

Thug Life Daywise Breakdown

Despite high expectations due to the strong star cast and direction, the film has not managed to maintain audience interest beyond the initial days. With the numbers dropping each day, it remains to be seen if the film can pick up pace or hold on for a longer run in theatres.

Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam have delivered many hits in the past, so fans had high hopes from Thug Life. However, the mixed reviews and slow word-of-mouth may have impacted its overall performance.
