Haryanvi Actor Uttar Kumar Arrested In Rape Case, Hospitalised After Allegedly Consuming Poison

Haryanvi actor Uttar Kumar has been arrested by Ghaziabad police following serious allegations of rape. A 25-year-old singer has accused the actor of sexually assaulting her under the pretence of offering her roles in films. Based on her complaint, the police conducted a raid at Uttar Kumar’s farmhouse in Amroha at around 4:30 am, acting under the instructions of Additional Police Commissioner Alok Priyadarshi.

Uttar Kumar Arrested In Rape Case

After his arrest, the actor reportedly fell ill and was taken to a private hospital for treatment. Police officials have confirmed that legal proceedings will resume once his health improves. An update shared on Uttar Kumar’s official Instagram account has raised concerns. The post claims that poison was found in his body while he was in police custody. It also alleges that his family was not informed about his condition or where he was admitted.

The post read, “During police custody, poison was found in the body of the famous Haryanvi actor Uttar Kumar. His family was not informed by the police, and they were not told which hospital he was taken to.” According to PTI, the complaint against the actor was filed on July 18. The singer stated that the assaults took place over a period from January 1, 2020, to July 31, 2023. Following her statement, an FIR was registered under charges of rape, criminal intimidation, and sections of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The case has drawn significant media attention and sparked public debate. Authorities are continuing their investigation, and further action will depend on Uttar Kumar’s medical condition and the evidence presented.
