Abhishek Sharrma’s strong performance as Dev in the hit show Vasudha has won over many fans. His career in the entertainment world shows that he is dedicated, patient, and really loves acting. Over time, he has built a name for himself, and playing Dev has only made his connection with the audience stronger.

Abhishek said that when he was a kid, he didn’t know for sure that he wanted to be an actor, but he always wanted to perform. “Since childhood, it was not clear as such that I wanted to do acting, but I used to perform and dance. I used to go to my neighbour’s house to perform, I used to perform at my house, and people would come to events like a birthday party, so I always wanted to perform, I always wanted to act. I didn’t know at that time that it was called ‘act’,” he said.

He added that his passion grew stronger with time as he began to understand what truly fulfilled him. “With time, I understood that this is what gives me a sense of fulfilment. Over time, I didn’t get the kind of fulfilment anywhere else that I used to get from acting. That’s when it became a conscious decision, and once I made that decision, there was no plan B,” Abhishek explained.

Abhishek Sharrma Opens Up On His Inspiration Behind Acting

When asked about his inspirations, Abhishek spoke about the many actors he admired while growing up. “There are so many people whom I grew up watching, I mean Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand Saab… whenever I used to watch any movie, I used to feel like, yaar, what a performance,” he said. He also mentioned how watching actors transform on screen made him curious about the craft and pushed him towards acting.

Interestingly, Abhishek revealed that if not acting, cricket would have been his path. “My first love was cricket. I used to play cricket a lot. I played during my bachelor’s and I played in my post-graduation time as well. So, yeah, it would have been cricket for sure,” he shared. However, today, there’s no second thought. “I don’t see myself doing anything apart from acting now, nothing. I can’t, and I don’t want to think about anything else,” he concluded.

Abhishek Sharrma’s journey clearly shows how passion, when nurtured over time, can turn into a lifelong commitment.
