EXCLUSIVE: Akanksha Puri Opens Up About Her Struggle Shooting Pool Scene With Sanam Johar In Ek Aasmaan Tha; Says, “He Pulled Me Close And…”

Actress Akanksha Puri spoke about the challenges she faced while shooting her new single Ek Aasmaan Tha. One scene in particular, a pool sequence, was both physically and emotionally tough for her. She shared that it was very intense and even a bit scary.

Akanksha Puri Embraces New Shade Of Romance

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Akanksha recalled the struggle of her pool scene in Ek Aasmaan Tha and said, “It was raining, the pool water was icy, and I was wearing this long, heavy gown. Then the strap came off, and the dress dropped in front.”

Thankfully, her co-actor Sanam supported her during the shoot. She said, “He pulled me close and hugged me tightly till the stylist rushed in. I was petrified, but he saved me from major embarrassment.”

Akanksha also shared how she got through the shoot. “Espresso shots were my rescue plan! I kept sipping them before and after jumping into the water.” She’s all praise for the production team. “They didn’t drag the shoot, they were well-prepared and clear on the vision. That helped a lot.”

Despite the challenges, Akanksha looks back at the experience with pride and thanks her team for their support. The final result of the song Ek Aasmaan Tha is visually stunning, capturing the sensuous essence of the song perfectly.
