EXCLUSIVE: Akriti Negi ACCUSES Rise And Fall Makers Of Biasness, Unfairness; States, “Maine Unko Bola Tha Ki…”

Akriti Negi opened up about her emotional journey on Rise and Fall, revealing unseen struggles behind her on-screen breakdown. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, she shared how the makers edited out key parts of her experience — from repeated breakdowns and isolation to moments of bullying that were never shown. Akriti also expressed disappointment over a misrepresented storyline involving Pawan Singh, clarifying that their bond was purely respectful. Akriti Negi Accuses Rise And Fall Makers Of Being Unfair

When asked if the show makers were unfair to her, Akriti Negi shared, “Jab main bahar aayi, maine didi se kaafi baat ki. Maine bola, ‘Yeh hua tha?’ aur didi boli, ‘Yeh toh dikhaya hi nahi gaya!’ Bas mera breakdown wala part dikhaya gaya, jahan main walkout kar gayi thi, but logon ko yeh nahi dikhaya gaya ki mere saath kya ho raha tha. Main actually usse pehle paanch baar breakdown ho chuki thi. Maine makers ko bola tha ki mujhe ghar jaana hai — not because game tough tha, but because main apne mom-dad se connect nahi kar pa rahi thi. Mujhe unki bahut yaad aati thi. Akriti continued, “Maine makers se kaha tha mujhe unse baat karni hai, but woh possible nahi ho pa raha tha. Agar ek baar baat ho jaati, toh main relax ho jaati. Upar se Sangeeta ji ke family mein jo hua tha, usse main aur darr gayi thi. Dheere-dheere sab mere against ho gaye, aur mujhe group mein baithna uncomfortable lagta tha. Jab aapke aas-paas 15–20 log ho aur sab aapke against ho, toh aap wahan kyun baithoge? Main alag baithti thi, but ek insan kitni der tak akela reh sakta hai?”

The Splitsvilla fame added, “Dheere-dheere mera breakdown hone laga. Un logon ne sirf mera ek particular breakdown dikhaya, jahan main walkout karti hoon, but unhone woh parts nahi dikhaye jahan mujhe bully kiya jaata tha, log mere pe hans rahe the, ya weekend ke play par mujhe target kiya jaata tha. Woh sab bahut humiliating tha, but dikhaya nahi gaya. Bas mera walkout wala moment dikhaya. Mujhe laga theek hai — makers ka call hai, unka show hai, woh apni marzi se banayenge.”

Akriti Reveals Pawan Singh Offered Her A Film

Speaking of, if she thinks that not showing the complete point of angle on Rise And Fall, Negi said, “Maine dekho sachchi mein abhi tak show nahi dekha hai, but jitna maine Dee ko bataya, unhone mujhe bataya ki yeh saari cheezein toh dikhi hi nahi. Jaise ek aur cheez batati hoon — mere liye Pawan ji mere Pawan Bhaiya hain. Unhone mera angle aise dikhaya jaise koi love story chal rahi ho hamare beech, jo bilkul bhi nahi tha. Maine day one par hi unko Pawan Bhaiya bola tha. Unhone “Bhaiya” wala part hi cut kar diya, aur main wahi confuse hoti thi ki mujhe aisi scripts kyu mil rahi hain. Matlab finale ke time par bhi — “Aap humse shaadi karenge ya nahi?” wala part mila tha. Main thodi shock thi ki mujhe aisi script kyu di gayi, but maine socha theek hai, show ka hissa hai.”

Akriti On Rise And Fall Being Scripted

When asked if the show was scripted, Akriti revealed, “Haan matlab woh scenario diya gaya tha na — Dhanashree aur main jaayenge, toh script milti thi humein aur bataya jaata tha ki aapko aise bolna hai ki Pawan Bhaiya se shaadi karni hai, yeh woh. Toh main thoda awkward feel karti thi, kyunki main unki bahut respect karti hoon. Woh mere bade bhaiya jaise hain, toh mujhe ajeeb lagta tha ki mujhe aise joda ja raha hai. Jaise aapko yaadh hoga, day one par hi unhone bola tha ki mujhe film offer karenge — main shock ho gayi thi.”

She continued, “Mere liye kaafi naya tha, ekdum se koi aaye aur bole ki ‘Film offer kar rahe hain.’ Maine Pawan sir ke bahut saare gaane sune hain, kyunki woh hit the, but by face maine kabhi unko dekha nahi tha. Toh jab first weekend ka Power Play aaya, mujhe bola gaya, ‘Pawan ji toh aapko movie de rahe hain,’ toh mujhe laga accha theek hai, movie hai. Concludng Negi said, “Us waqt mujhe bada jhatka laga — kyunki main unhe Bhaiya ke roop mein dekhti hoon. Toh woh cheez mujhe emotionally hit kar gayi. Theek hai, woh sab chala gaya, but haan, jo angle dikhaya gaya, usse main kaafi disappointed thi, kyunki woh galat tha aur show walon ko aisa nahi dikhana chahiye tha.”
