When asked about Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal’s love angle shown in Bigg Boss 19, the singer’s aunt Roshaan Garry said, “It’s a beautiful friendship. Bahut acchi dosti hai. Matlab it’s the complete opposite. Jahaan Amaal thoda sa, you know, gusse wala ladka hai, very boy-boy type, wahaan pe Tanya bahut shaant swabhav ki ladki hai. Bilkul chhichhori harkatein nahi karti. Amaal ke gusse ko bhi bahut acche se handle karti hai. So it’s a nice friendship, doston jaisi hi hoti hai. Aur it’s too early to predict such kind of things yaar, ki love angle hai ya nahi. Dono mature log hain. And I think hum koi nahi hote yeh kehne wale. Today’s generation and even this younger lot, they’ll make their own decisions.”

Speaking of, if there is a chance of their friendship growing into love, Roshan said, “Dekhiye, jaise maine kaha, hum koi nahi hote ‘yes’ bolne wale. It is they who have to decide their life. Kya humare ‘no’ hone se nahi hoga kya? Nahi. Aur humare ‘yes’ hone se ho jayega kya? Nahi na. So, it’s their call. I like her — matlab agar aap mujhse poochhenge, mujhe Tanya bahut acchi lagti hai. Uska swabhav bahut sambhal ke chalne wala hai, badtameez nahi hai, chhichhori nahi hai, jaise maine kaha na, toh as a person I really like her.”
